Michelle's award-winning short film, Blow Out (which she wrote and starred in) has screened at festivals worldwide. She was a finalist in the Austin Film Festival's 2020 pitch competition, as well as the 2018 Just for Laughs pitch competition, and won the AMP Accelerator at the Banff World Media Festival. She was a staff writer for the second season of Haunted Case Files, and recently finished a Thriller MOW for Reel One. As an actor, Michelle was a series regular on Vincenzo Natali's Darknet (Netflix US/UK/CAN), and recurring on both The Expanse (Amazon) and Designated Survivor (ABC). She's also a graduate of the University of Windsor's Acting Conservatory, was the youngest Associate Artistic Director of Nightwood Theatre - Canada's National Feminist Theatre, and grew up in a Canadian seaside town with one traffic light. She now resides in Los Angeles.
